Hi everyone!
Split, dry, brittle. If that’s how you can describe your hair ends, it means that you must start taking proper care of it, immediately. The good news is that there is no need for trimming! A well-balanced diet rich in vitamins and a hair treatment known to every hair maniac – hair oiling, helped me out!
Eat Clean
Proper diet has a great influence on the hair and skin condition. The majority of elements that are essential for proper hair growth are consumed with food. These include: copper, zinc, silicon, calcium, iron and the same is with vitamins. Hair cannot do without A, C, D, E and B complex vitamins. What’s more, you should not forget about eating products rich in fatty acids. This way, your scalp and hair will be nourished, strengthened, and resistant to damage.
What to eat to have beautiful hair and healthy scalp? Go for sea fish, fruits, vegetables, cereals, legumes and red meat. Add products containing antioxidants to the diet. Give up caffeine, which flushes minerals out of the body. Do not eat sugar, because it can interrupt the work sebaceous glands.
Hair Oil Treatment
If the ends of your hair are splitting, it means that they are in need of a proper dose of hydration, and protection from the outside as well. In this case, the most effective method is called hair oiling. This treatment consists in rubbing natural oils into the ends or the entire hair length (you can use argan oil, almond oil, coconut oil). They comprise vitamins, minerals and fatty acids that pamper the hair. All you need to do is to apply the oil to the hair and leave it in for a few hours, then, wash out with the use of a mild shampoo (preferably SLS-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free). Make sure to use the amount of cosmetic that will be adequate to the length, thickness and degree of damage to the hair. Also, use only good quality oils, preferably the cold-pressed and unrefined ones.
